DearYou envisions a world where every woman survives breast cancer.

Who is behind DearYou?

DearYou is a global campaign powered by The DEAR Foundation Switzerland. Our mission is to make breast health information accessible to all women, whatever their language, literacy level, or location.

At the heart of our campaign is the DearYou app: a free, easy-to-use mobile tool that helps women learn how to perform regular breast self-exams and track their health over time. Using the latest AI technology and grounded in the Health Belief Model, the app provides step-by-step guidance and helpful health tips to support women in maintaining their health. It also has new features that let community partners join the campaign and receive recognition for their support and the difference they make.

A cornerstone of The DEAR Foundation Switzerland’s work has been the DearMamma campaign, which provided breast health education through the free DearMamma app. This mission continues and expands today with DearYou.

The campaign was initiated by Sonja Dinner, the President of The DEAR Foundation Switzerland. Seeing firsthand the devastating impact of stigma and misinformation around breast cancer in underserved communities, Sonja launched DearMamma to break the silence and save lives, a mission that continues through DearYou.
